Sea Point Haze

On those days when the sun is still out and the mist pulls over the coast of Sea Point it often seems an eerie other world is created.

The strong forms of the rocks disappearing in to the haze of the mist are mixed in with the white water of waves breaking and the Atlantic oceans deep blues .

Using a variety of on camera techniques such as black carding, light painting and longer exposure times, each photograph is a single captured frame.

Its not about the longest exposure times, but about in a single frame trying to capture the unpredictability of the various factors interacting.
